Here we have a gentleman housebound and stuck, just like us. Only he broke his leg. His friend, fearing he might begin to suffer from melancholia, writes him letters to cheer him up. Does he go too far? You be the judge. I rather like the term melancholia for what some of us might be feeling these days. Alas, we must endure!
